Big announcement: we’re now the Fibromyalgia National Health Organization!

We are thrilled to announce a transformative milestone in our journey to better serve the fibromyalgia community. After years of advocacy, research, and patient services as the Support Fibromyalgia Network, we are evolving into the Fibromyalgia National Health Organization (FNHO).

Why the Change?

Our mission has always been to empower, educate, and advocate for those with fibromyalgia. However, as we’ve grown, we realized that our organization’s name needed to better reflect our expanded goals. The shift from the Support Fibromyalgia Network to the Fibromyalgia National Health Organization represents our dedication to comprehensive healthcare initiatives, research, education, advocacy and most importantly, nationwide collaboration. We believe that by working together, we can make a significant impact on the understanding and treatment of fibromyalgia.

With this new name, we aim to reinforce our commitment to becoming the premier national organization focused on fibromyalgia health. FNHO will broaden its scope to include greater collaboration with healthcare professionals and researchers in order to further advance the understanding and treatment of fibromyalgia.

What Stays the Same?

Core Mission: We will continue to advocate tirelessly for the fibromyalgia community. Our focus on holistic health, patient empowerment, and education remains as strong as ever.

Programs & Services: From webinars to health coaching and research initiatives, all of the programs you’ve learned and trusted will continue under a new name.

Community First Focus: We still believe in the power of community. Whether through support groups, patient stories, or educational resources, your voice will remain central to our work.

What’s New?

Expanded Healthcare Initiatives: As FNHO, we will increase our efforts to collaborate with healthcare providers and researchers to improve fibromyalgia care nationwide. Expect more initiatives centered on improving care standards, treatment guidelines, and partnerships with health organizations.

Advancing Research: FNHO will expand our involvement in fibromyalgia research to support evidence-based treatments and improve understanding of the condition. We will encourage new avenues of research into the causes and treatments for fibromyalgia.

The Torch of Hope

Our new name comes with a new branding that represents hope, illumination, and empowerment for the fibromyalgia community. The light we strive to bring to those living with fibromyalgia, will be a beacon of strength, guiding patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers toward better understanding and managing this chronic condition. We’re proud to embrace this powerful new change within our organization.

What’s Next?

This is just the beginning of a new chapter. We are excited to share more updates as we continue growing into the Fibromyalgia National Health Organization. As we roll out our latest brand, you’ll notice changes to our website, social media, and communication channels. Rest assured—our core values, our passion for supporting the fibromyalgia community, and our commitment to patient empowerment and education remain as strong as ever.
